A former lode Au mine located in sec. 7, T7N, R7E, HM, (unsurveyed for township, range and section. Location projected from description in reference), 3.3 km (2.1 miles) ENE of Denny, along the New River, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body strikes NW and dips 50NE with a depth to bottom of 96.01 meters. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 adits totaling 700 feet in length; 1,600 feet of drifts, several raises and a stope (100 feet x 3 feet x 9 feet).

Said to have produced $160,000 of Au (period values). No specific production record was found.
The ore was said to be high-grade.
