A former lode/placer Au mine located in the N½SE¼ sec. 32, T32N, R8W, MDM, 2.2 km (7,200 feet) SSW of Arts Peak (coordinates of record), along Indian Creek. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in serpentinite, dacite and porphyry. The ore body strikes NW and dips 0 at a thickness of 0.61 meters. The quartz is described as white and sugary. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface operations. The overburden was worked with a hydraulic giant with a 2 to 3 inch nozzle. A small millsite on site.
