Minerals Newspaper - Issue 4



The fourth issue of MINERALS, the newspaper for collectors, is now available. This newspaper edited by Tomasz Praskier is published twice a year, and given out free of charge at all major mineral shows. The fourth issue has articles on a new Topaz pocket from Sakangyi, Burma, new sperrylites from Canada and an interview with Wendell Wilson, chief editor of the Mineralogical Record.

It is available as a free download from Mindat.org. The download link is at the bottom of this page.

You can pick up a printed copy for free at the St Marie-aux-Mines Show.

WOW. Nice selection. Captivating. Put me to daydream on occasion. Thanks, I needed something good to read today. I'm watching "THE BLUE PLANET : SEAS OF LIFE" on my TV, and combined with this read, I get entranced into the delicacy of Life. On a planet with no life, most minerals we know would still exist. From the elements we know we can see what we're made of. Yet, who knows how the how to create life how one pleases. Imagine a life form and build it.
Mother Nature is awesome. Riddles of my mind...
