| Description | Founded in 1956 Shasta Gem and Mineral Society’s mission is to mentor members in the knowledge of gems, minerals, and the lapidary arts. Our goal is to teach adults and children (over 8 years old) to understand and appreciate this field of study. Through educational classes, rock hounding field trips, and hands-on lapidary arts classes we offer members the opportunity to explore many different options. |
