LocalitiesSpotted Leopard Mine, Cobar, Robinson Co., New South Wales, Australia

30th Apr 2012 06:13 UTCAdam Robert McKinnon

I am one of the authors in the latest reference for this deposit. I identified the minerals ungemachite and mandarinoite at the nearby New Cobar deposit (confirmed by powder XRD), not at Spotted Leopard. I think these species (and possibly some others) have mistakenly been ascribed to this Spotted Leopard. This should be changed as these are particularly rare species, and it is erroneous to give them several locations in the Cobar Basin. Being new to Mindat, I am unsure whether it is possible for me to change this information, or whether I need to get an administrator to do it.

Thanks,

Adam

Adam,

Under the Maintenance tab there is a section titled Mistakes and Errors. If you post this over there you may get a faster response from someone who can make the changes.
