I think it's a rough sort criterion of a previous owner or part of the locality string.

Unfortunately this refers only to another document I could not find a digital copy of on the WWW.
Betz, V., & Hentschel, G. (1978). Offretit und erionit vonGedern (Vogelsberg). Geologisches Jahrbuch Hessen,106, 419–42.
Wonder if Volker and Gerhard had these details back in those days.
Hope to find the various extentions of phillipsite/erionite/faujasite/offretite in the quarries near Gedern, Herbstein, Langd and the Gaulsberg (Ortenberg) since they are not detailed in mindat.

Since 1978 and today 41 years of progess in science ! I just finished a paper about the zeolites in Vogelsberg, a kind of a review. It will published at beginning of July in Aufschluss the magazine of VFMG. Some of your questions may answered, but many are still open. The reason is that special mineralogy is a almost abanoned science at german universities.
Discriminating offretite and erionite is now done by Mg content. (and difficult):
Dogan, A.U. & Dogan, M. (2008): Re-evaluation and re-classification of erionite-series minerals.
Environ. Geochem. Health, 30, 355-366.
The analysed Faujasites are Faujasite-Ca
Wise,W. S. (1982) New occurrence of faujasite
in southeastern California. American Mineralogist.
67, 794-798. ( 3 results of Faujasite from Vogelsberg)
The offretite/ Erionite is mostly offretite but Erionite has been found at Ortenberg and Unterwidderheim ( in quartz rich xenolites)
The nature of phillipsites is typical Phillipsite-K but there are no recent analytical results.
