Hey there everyone (anyone?)

I have a super neat Apophyllite specimen here with some Scolecite but I need some help identifying what's happening inside this one.

The apophyllite itself is sitting on host rock but it seems there is a mineral inside of the apophyllite with no outside growth (it is all internal and seen through the clear apophyllite)

It is an awesome rich green colour and is quite bushy and moss-like.

I would like assistance identifying what kind of growth is going on here and also a spectrum of rarity for this specimen please.

Also - just for a ballpark, can someone please give me an estimate to what a piece like this might be worth? i paid $8 canadian for this piece and am trying to re-sell it.

Thanks so much! hope you can see the detail in the pictures!!!

With this specimen, beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder! For me it is a very ordinary lower end example with no really good intact and undamaged crystals (that I can see) and no compelling aesthetics. Unless the mineral "inside" the apophyllite is real and an unusual combination, I don't see this example being worth more than $10 USD. CHEERS......BOB

Looks like there are inclusions of possibly celadonite which is known to turn Apophyllite green like this: https://www.mindat.org/photo-667160.html
