Improving Mindat.orgAustralian & New Zealand Mineral Collector Magazine...
14th Jan 2008 09:07 UTCSteve Sorrell Expert
Four issues of the Australian and New Zealand Mineral Collector Magazine have so far been published in 2007 (one every three months). The next issue is due out in March 2008.
Interested in penning an article? I am looking for input into upcoming issues. Preference given to articles on Australian or New Zealand locations, minerals, show reports, field trips, or trips overseas by 'locals'. I won't say no to articles from other regions either.
Regards
Steve

I am a stone sculptor (in Los Angeles, California)
and import stones for sculpting: marble, alabaster, soapstone, onyx, and occasionally other stones suitable for sculpting.
At the present time I am searching for ALABASTERS IN COLORS: BLUE, RED, GREEN, AND OTHER COLORS.
Do you know of any gypsum/alabaster mines in Australia and New Zealand? If you do know, please give them my name and email: doddmarblesculpture@msn.com
I buy container loads of irregular/naturally quarried boulders (not cut into blocks).
I thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Dodd Roth
