GeneralMineral Catalog on Mindat

I had $19 catalog program that was made for use of any collectables and now after entering about 500 items on mindat I am not sure if I did the right thing. It is very important to be able to keep the mirror image of this inventory on a notebook that I can bring around and consult off line.
So help help help!!!

Also there is always possibility that US government or any one else screws the things up for a while or for a long while.
I love mindat but something could go wrong, after all mindat is Jolyon, what if something happens to you.
I always made money selling my customers the idea they should have a backup for everything so I am indoctrinated in to the idea of backup.
For now I will see if I can learn to format the XL backup in to something useful. If you had some shortcut available I would buy it and so would probably every one using this otherwise fine catalog of yours. With thousands more specimens to enter I will at it for a long time. Cheers, Jonathan

Since I use the automatic sign-on I always end up on my own home page. Once I got to the mindat home page I found it all.

First; would it be possible to make a change so that while doing a data entry one stays on the page where the last item was posted to rather than jump buck to the first page all the time. It would save me a lots of time not to have to guess where to check if I feel that an error was made.
Second; It would be helpful to all of non English mother tongue if the mineral name selector would help us with simple spelling errors such as short spelling on double letters or in general when very close but off by only one character. Prevailing language of the foggy little islands is very easy to learn but the spelling has no rules and even Anglos have a hard time with this.
Changing the first one is probably easy, second I do not know how much work it would be but on Google they do it.
I am getting there slowly, 600 plus entered and only 6000 (and a few more to go). If it was not for Jolyon I would have newer even started.
