GeneralAgate Location

I recently found my long lost collection from around 1960. I've begun to delve into the specimens and found many that were labeled by species, some labeled at least to a geographic location, some that had no labels at all, and a few that I think the labels are suspect. Be aware I was around 10 years old at the time; and, while I had some help those who helped were not all that interested in exactly where something came from. I'll likely have a few questions and here is the first.

The label said both these chalcedony (var.agate) came from Mexico. That's all the label says. After some research there appear to be several places they could have come from. If they came from Mexico can the locality be narrowed down with any confidence? I have reservations whether they even came from Mexico.

Try looking at Coyamito agates as that is what comes to mind for the second picture, Luna agate for the first...

Thanks Travis. It does appear they might be from Mexico
