Improving Mindat.orgBoa Vista (Eduardo) vs. Eduardo Claim

Are these two place the same locality? Lat/Long coordinates are nearly the same, and the satellite image suggests one area of diggings, both have the characteristic red vivianite and other similar appearing minerals.

Hello Jeff,

The correct locality is:

Eduardo claim, Conselheiro Pena district, Conselheiro Pena , Rio Doce Valley, Minas Gerais.

all the claims in that region are frequently refered as Boa Vista, because they are located along the valley of Boa Vista creek. If you prefer Boa Vista locality may be added, thus

Eduardo claim, Boa Vista creek, etc, but it not necessary.

Best regards
