Comments:Previously erroneously identified as tetradymite by Van Wambeke (1954-1955). Later identified by XRD as joséite-B. Microprobe analysis (Godfroid, 1999) lead to the formula (Bi3.83Pb0.09Te0.08)Te2.00(S0.93Se0.06) with low contents of Zn (0.03%) and Ni (0.02%).
Colour:creamy white, highly reflective (polarized light); grey-blue to greenish-grey (anisotropy)
