Comments: | Talc was mined in the first half of the 20th century to the north of Poggio Corbolone by the company Società Talco e Grafite Val Chisone. Only traces of this mine are still visible. Greenish talc is widespread in ophiolite rocks. Veinlets of greenish lamellar crystals are rarely found. Black steatite ha been found in a hydrothermalite block. |
