Pale blue crystals

This specimen is from the Friedrichssegen Mine, Frucht, Bad Ems District, Lahn Valley, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The matrix is primarily pyrite. The field of view is 1.1mm so the crystals are too small to get a hardness on. I have not been able to match it to mineral and was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

The crystals look a bit rounded as if they may be soluble. Perhaps something like chalcanthite or cuprian melanterite?

I fully agree with Kevin.

I would agree with a soluble mineral such as chalcanthite. Plus, it's known to come from Bad Ems.

Just a thought...

I had considered chalcanthite but was unsure as it looked different than what I have from the US southwest. I found another piece that was not as good and put in water and it dissolved rather quickly so I will go with the chalcanthite ID. Thanks folks.
