Identity HelpMagnet Cove, AR - Mine question

24th Aug 2010 17:38 UTCPeter Hargis

I recently acquired a Rutile specimen, formerly in the Clyde Hardin Collection, with "M.C.T.C. Mine, Magnet Cove" listed as the locality. Would this be referring to the "Magnet Cove Rutile Company deposits (Titanium Corporation of America Mine)"? Maybe it was once called the "Magnet Cove Titanium Corps Mine" at one point? Any other thoughts on what it might be referring to?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
