Thank you, Cathy. I'm sorry I missed you... I just don't recognize people fast enough. Bob said he saw the kids, I was glad to hear that. I wanted to ask if you would like to be kept on the newsletter list (by real mail or email, your preference), or if it's just more annoying junk mail ... I'm especially trying to find out who really can't access it by email and get them hard copies. oxo Lizzie

Thanks! Maybe next year?

I felt like I was missing a show that weekend!

I am so bummed I missed it. Usually Mandy and I go to ANY show within a four hour drive. Generally we have a few show calendars we consult to make sure we get to them all. After I saw your post I was shocked that we somehow missed it - so I checked several sources and the show wasn't advertised anywhere except for on the club's site and a few of the vendors' upcoming events. However, if a collector is simply looking for mineral shows in a general region they would never see these mentions (unless already searching for Danbury Mineral Show). Most of the shows place notice with one or more show calendars, like amfed, rockngem, mineralfest, the-vug, etc.

Anyway, I'll be sure not to miss it again next year but it might not be a bad idea to get placed in the aforementioned calendars (you must've been in them in the past - because we went to the show in previous years...)

See ya next time....

Thanks, Jasun.

Yes, I think we get a big FAIL regarding PR this year. I wasn't as involved in prep as I'd have liked to be, but usually we do do more. I'll copy your comments and keep them in mind.
