That's shown on the attached images is an "historical" specimen. I received it as a present with other minerals when I was about 10-12 years old (I talk about the first half of the 70's, I've started soon to collect minerals and fossils). This specimen is labeled genericly as "rare earths", that must be intended, I believe, as "rare earth elements". The locality where it was found is a generic..."Brazil". Well, that's all I know about this object:S:S. The material is not radioactive neither magnetic, and no visible alterations or pseudomorphosis arisen during this 40 years (unlike my look...:(). Several species can be observed, crystalized and massive, with vitreous and metallic lustre and different colours. Have any of you a faint idea of what this material might be? Or it's only an uproariuos fake? The FOV of attached images (enough clear, I hope) is the same, about 3 x 3 mm.
Many thanks for all your kind opinions!:)
