No, I don't know exactly what that piece is, and I doubt anyone else will know either unless you provide some more information about it. What would be nice to know are things like hardness (if that's possible), is it heavy for size, streak colour, is it magnetic, does it have a sulphur odor if rubbed, etc. Reiner might be on the track, but some additional information sure would be helpful.....

classic pseudo of pyrite after pyrrhotite. Maybe with some arsenopyrite. On the top (greyish) probably ankerite-dolomite series impregnated (covered) with plumosite
