MineralsGaildunningite

20th Apr 2019 13:56 UTCŁukasz Kruszewski Expert

This species is now called gaildunningite. The new minerals IMA report had the IMA2018-029 name reported. I have unmarked the "approved" and "pending publication" marks in the IMA2019-029 page, set the entry type to synonym, while in the gaildunningite page I've set these status options marked. However, the Clear Creek claim locality still lists IMA2018-029 in bold while gaildunningite in a normal font. How may this be changed?

Łukasz,

Fixed.

First, The type locality block for Gaildunningite had to be checked in the species entry for it in the locality page (makes it bold), then the IMA2018-029 entry had to be deleted from the locality page. IMA2018-029 is already listed as a synonym for gaildunningite in the gaildunningite mineral data.

Hi. Thanks. I have checked and it matches the IMA2018-029 well.
