Whatever it is, it must have been transported to where you found it. It appears to be a precambrian crystalline rock, perhaps diorite or a charnockite??

It is likely a glacially transported rock and probably transported by the river also. These are common in northwestern Pennsylvania. Lots of rocks that don't originate here are found due to glacial transport. Yes, I agree something like a diorite.
