I see your photos all the time on mindat and I believe we registered about the same time, I have been on for close to the same time you have and I will second your thoughts.

I too have learned quite a lot in those years and it has been a wonderful place to spend a lot of mineral time.

Christian, thanks for the picture, and some background: we live in Belgium, and made a big trip to the SW of the USA with the children in 2010. I bought my first digital camera for that journey, and took lots of pictures. Back home and browsing through Mindat, I noticed that a lot of the places we've visted (like Yosemite) had no locality photo's, so I started to upload some of my photos. Since then, I've always taken pictures on our holidays and on trips, and put them on Mindat. Hope to be able to do that for many, many years to come.

Rolf, between 1992 and 2004 I've attended the Tucson show 9 times (where I met Alfredo Petrov). At that occasion we also went on trips to localities as Washington Camp, JC Holmes Claim and Grand Reef. A pity we were not on Mindat at that time and didn't know each other.
