Field CollectingHelp Finding Locality Contacts for Collecting

I'm looking for a bit of advice. I started field-collecting recently, and I've started compiling a list of places I want to visit for collecting. Mostly, I base this list on specimens I've seen from those localities. Having nothing more to go on than those pictures and the name of the locality, however, and given that many localities are on private property, I often run into the problem of not being able to find any contact info for the owners of the site (or even the identity of the owners) in order to ask permission to collect there. I'm part of my local gem & mineral club, so I can usually find the info I need for collecting sites in my state, but I'm at a loss on how to find the info I need for sites in other states (or even other countries) if I can't find what I need with a google search.
Does anyone have any tips for finding this information for someone from out of state? In this particular instance, I'm looking for info on Puffball Mine in King Co., Washington, so if anyone has experience with that locality, I'd appreciate anything you can tell me.

Unfortunately basically all the sites are on private lands, having been reclaimed and grown over and picked clean for some years now. Essentially you will find more ticks and poison ivy than you will find fluorite chips. HASTIE had a Spar Mountain quarry North of Cave-in-Rock with the mineral rights at least until several years ago. They wouldn't let anyone unknown to them in during that time. While there is still ore in the ground with specimen containing pockets, nothing has come out for years now (ore prices have been too low). There has been intermittent discussions of ore and specimen mining resuming thru out these past years, but to my knowledge nothing has happened.
Best go to the Clement Museum in Kentucky and The American Fluorite Museum in Rosiclare Illinois. If the Clement Museum has its yearly dig at the Eureka Prospect (or other) go on that as it will be your best opportunity for finding things. Welcome to Mindat and CHEERS.......BOB

Another relatively close fluorite collecting spot near there is in Bedford, IN. It was featured in a mindat article recently. Check out the article here for details: https://www.mindat.org/article.php/2786/An+Interesting+Fluorite+Occurrence+in+the+Limestone+Capital+of+the+World
