GeneralDark band aquamarine

Hi,
There is a dark blue band running parallel near the top of my aquamarine crystal. Unfortunately for some reason my camera doesn't pick it up, even though it is clearly visible. I thought it looked kind of cool and was just wondering if anyone knows what this is, how it forms, or anything like that. The specimen is from Namibia and thanks!

Usually this is indicative of higher Fe contents.

I got a picture, the band is much more noticeable in person the camera flushes it out a bit
