EducationPOTD 2024-03-29 - crocoite - what a photo!

This is an amazing photo. The way the photo was taken shows what a great photographer Andreas is. Contrary to many, he has NOT tried to get everything in the image in focus. By having parts of the photo blurry, he created a way more "natural look" and added "depth".
He also arranged for some of the pyromorphites to nicely show their crystal shape and make it clear they are supporting the crocoites. And the doubly terminated crocoite crystal ... truly the icing on the cake!  (La cérise sur le gâteau, das Sahnehäubchen)!

To me, this is a POTD that really stands out.
Whoever added this photo to the pool of POTD candidates, many thanks!
And thank you, Andreas, for adding this photo to the database, and for creating such a wonderful photo (and work of art) in the first place. My hat goes off to you!
