Abstract/NotesSpecial issue: an update about Bou Azzer district since the last issue about this locality.

ABSTRACT
Since our last paper on the Bou Azzer district minerals (Favreau, 2007), research has continued in the whole area. Material from various, sometimes temporary, operation sites, from exploration work and from previous collections was analyzed, allowing to increase the list of minerals of the district. Thus bariopharmacosiderite, chudobaite, lindgrenite, smithsonite and strashimirite were added to the list, now exceeding 240 species.
Some remarkable discoveries must be mentioned, like takovite in excellent crystals which allowed solving the mineral structure, bendadaite used in the paper describing the species, the second finding of the very rare bouazzerite and three additional occurrences of maghrebite.
Keywords: Bou Azzer, Morocco, bendadaite, bouazzerite, chudobaite, maghrebite, takovite.
