Abstract/NotesDécouvert en 1959, ce minéral est triclinique : a = 7,11 ; b = 6,94 ; c = 7,15 Å ; α = 94° 19' ; β = 101° 35' ; γ = 87° 22' ; groupe de symétrie P-1, isostructural avec la monétite. Raies intenses du diagramme de poudre (en accord avec le produit artificiel) : 3,43 (10) ; 3,05 (10) ; 2,79 (7). Blanc, porcelané, généralement pseudomorphique de la pharmacolite ; d = 3,48. Biaxe négatif, 2 V = 81° ; n'm = 1,688 ; n'p = 1,664, mesurés dans le plan p (001). Les analyses conduisent à la formule CaH(AsO₄). Ce minéral est dédié à R. Weil, Directeur de Recherches au C. N. R. S.
