Old lead mine with galena veins intruding granite.

Lead small mine which was worked in the 1950s located near the village of Casillas de Monleón part of the municipality of El Endrinal.

The mineralization is located in a vein of Quartz related to a fault (forming a parallel set in the area) produced in the Alpine cycle affecting both the granite as the slates of Cambrian age being the mine just in the contact.
