Grube Rosenhof


The Rosenhof Mine, west of Clausthal, was a lead, copper and silver mine and started in the 16th century and was finally closed in 1930.
One of the longest operated mines in the Harz mountains.
Some 11 shafts and several adits were built and used during it's long operational history. The last operated main shaft, the Ottilae Shaft, is nowaday's a visitor mine.
