Literally: Lion Head Mountain.

The karst topography north of Pyaung-pyin-ahnout mining area includes the entire Chin-theit-taung hill, topped with conspicuous pagodas. In 2003 some illicit mining was taking place in the skarns and in the contact zones at the base of the hill where ruby, spinel, lapis lazuli, sodalite, and hackmanite are recovered. - Ted Themelis (2008) Gems and Mines of Mogok.
