A former underground Au-Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu mine located about 2 miles East of Turkey Creek Station. Discovered 1925. Claims extend into sec. 8.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with lens-shaped and tabular ore bodies. The veins dip 10 to 30ºE. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration was not noted; however, there was bleaching adjacent to the vein(s). Local foliation trends N-S.
