Ophiolitic rocks.
Small orange bright crystals of andradite (var. topazolite) occur in hydrothermalised serpentinite along the path to Rifugio Monte Aiola-Pratomollo and on the southeastern slope of Monte Aiola at the border with the municipal territory of Santo Stefano d'Aveto.
K feldspar var. adularia, prehnite, pumpellyite, epidote, albite, and quartz occur in diabase.
