The location for this entry is placed in a canyon 10 miles ENE of San Quintin, where Baja Almanac Publishers (2009) indicates one of three prospects in the general area. Aerial photography shows clearing of a hillside and removal of soil overburden over a slope measuring 150 by 300 feet to the south of Agua Amarga.
No site reports have yet emerged, but the mineralogy points to this site being a skarn, which would not be unexpected in the area given the regional geology and similar sites within the mountainous belt of central Baja Norte.
