Glendale Church Road (KY 2123) 0.5 mi. S of KY 1668, north of the Hickory Cane mine. Dumps scattered over a 1 acre area contain calcite, cerussite(?), fluorite (purple, yellow and colorless), galena, pyrite, quartz (colorless and smoky), smithsonite, sphalerite (Trace 1954). Chert is very abundant. (All confirmed by A. Goldstein during a 2005 visit.) Associated with the Commodore fault zone, which includes the Craighead and Beard mines to the north and the Hickory Cane mine to the south. This zone forms the west side of the Griffith Bluff graben.
