| Comments: | Stugard (1958) established through sampling various pegmatites that microcline is the K-feldspar of the Middletown Pegmatite District, though this location was not sampled. Much of it is rock forming grains, except at the intermediate/quartz core zone boundary where inward oriented, subhedral prismatic crystals to 30 cm grade into the amazonite variety. |
