Species:'Psilomelane' (not an IMA approved species)
Comments:Occurs in bedded manganese oxides underlying a bed of volcanic ash in the Artillery formation. Replaces the cement of the sand or grit and as layers of pure psilomelane as much as 6 inches thick.
