Abstract/NotesThe geology of a small area on the island of Stjernøy, within the Seiland petrographic province in North Norway, is described. The rock types range from ultrabasic to nepheline syenite and pegmatite. Rocks of gabbroic affinities dominate.
An interesting relationship exists between layered gabbro, hornblendite, carbonatite, and nepheline syenite.
