Lost and Stolen Specimens86 pound bucket of GOLD FLAKES stolen in NYC

1st Dec 2016 20:37 UTCBob Harman

For an interesting take on stealing minerals, go to CNN.com and look for the November 30 story and video of an individual stealing an aluminum bucket filled with gold flakes. The bucket weighed about 86 lbs and was taken at mid day in NYC from the back of an open and unattended armored truck. The gold value was estimated at $1.6 million! Not bad for a field collecting find so to speak! CHEERS.......BOB
