A mercury mine with cinnabar as the principal ore mineral. Located near Villa Cinabrio. Started 1933 and closed 1938 due to caving attributed to gophering and pillar robbing. Mine was 50 meters deep with 5 levels. Owned by Compañia Explotadora de Durango, S.A. (Mr. Claude D. Moll).
