Islas del Ibicuy is a department of the province of Entre Ríos in the Argentine Republic. It is the ninth-largest in the province with 4,500 km².
To the west, it borders the Gualeguay department, to north the Gualeguaychú department, to the south the province of Buenos Aires (Zárate, Campana and San Fernando districts) and to the east the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
Within the department, the Paraná River is divided into several branches that end in 4 main mouths: Gutiérrez, Paraná Bravo, Sauce and Paraná Guazú.
