71 kilometres east of Kalumburu in the King George River region, northern Kimberley. The area is extremely remote with virtually no viable land access.
There are four small kimberlite pipes named Ashmore 1 to 4. Grades of diamonds appear to decrease with depth. Four stones were found at around 10 ct, and many at lower grades, but the amount of material means the site is sub-economic to mine.
1 valid mineral.
