Located 3 to 5 kilometres south of the Mount Magnet-Yalgoo Road. The mine is approximately 500 metres south-east of the Granites Gold Mine. At the time of writing the lease was active. Sheds and processing equipment may indicate it has been active in recent decades to a limited degree.
The mine was the most consistent producer from 1939 to 1948, when locations from this area appear in the Mines Department reports. It is noted in the reports most years across this period with small tonnages. 1940, 6.50 tonnes for 21.75 oz, 1941, 49.75 tonnes for 89.08 oz, 1942, 11.50 tonnes for 8.95 oz, 1943, 47 tonnes for 119.79oz, 1945, 67.75 tonnes for 119.79 oz and 1947, 11 tonnes for 7 oz.
