Located about 5 kilometres west of the Yarri Road and Donkey Rocks Road intersection. The access road leaves the Yarri Road a few kilometres south of the intersection and heads north-west.
Mining commenced in January 2013 by Kalnorth Gold Mines Limited, and was completed by August the same year, in what can be described as an advanced trial pit. The ore was processed at Saracen's Carosue Dam processing plant. Another source mentions there was an old open pit at the site prior to this development but no other details could be found.
The lode accessed is called Parrot Feathers, with 138 229 tonnes of ore taken out at 1.93 g/t Au. Gold mineralisation is hoted by a narrow shallow dipping vein. Inferred estimated resources remaining is 401 000 tonnes at 4.2 g/t yielding 54 000 ounces of gold.
