Gebhardshagen is one of the 31 districts of the independent city of Salzgitter in Lower Saxony, located in the village of West. It is the fourth-largest district in Salzgitter and is located in the city center. Gebhardshagen belonged to the district of Wolfenbüttel until March 31, 1942 and became part of the city of Watenstedt-Salzgitter by an administrative act on April 1, 1942. On January 23, 1951, this was officially renamed Salzgitter.
