Mines de la Bouble
Significant mining on coal was carried out from the 19th century, when deep shafts made it possible to mine the deeper layers of coal. Over the decades, a large mining area was created, which extends over the municipalities of Youx and Saint-Eloy-les-Mines. The mine, which was nationalized in 1946, was closed in 1977 after the deposit was exhausted.
The geo-coordinates mark the "Saint-Joseph" shaft, whose remaining buildings are now protected monuments. They are home to the local mining museum
