Puits de Plattes, Puits de Plates
The "de Plattes" shaft was part of the Chapagnac coal mine complex designed to develop the local coal deposits. The shaft was sunk in 1890 and the few buildings that can be seen above ground may indicate that the pit was used to ventilate the pit. Coal mining finally ended in 1959. The geo-coordinates mark the approximate location of the shaft
