A former surface and underground Cu-Ag claim located in the NW¼ sec. 24, T.18S., R.15E. (Sahuarita 15 minute topo map), and adjoins the Indian Club on the north, 28 miles SE of Tucson, on private land. Owned by ASARCO (1988-present). The Pilot claim is part of the patented Helvetia property owned by ASARCO (1992).

Mineralization is silicated, altered limestone in which the ore occurs in veinlets containing chalcocite and copper oxides. Rich carbonate ores occur at surface in the open cuts. The host rock units are the Horquilla Formation of limestone-siltstone; and the Escabrosa Limestone. Ore control was the shear zone.

Local structures include thrust and normal faulting, fracture zones, homoclinal. Regional trends include tilting and broad open folds in the south and extensive faulting in the north.

Workings include a 70 foot deep shaft and open cuts. No production record.
