A Cu occurrence/group of claims located in secs. 7 & 18, T28S, R40E, and in secs. 12 & 13, T28S, R39E, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) NNW of El Paso Peaks (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. An uncorrelated old name. No other information is available.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body is lenticular in form. Cu-bearing minerals occur in seams, veins and lenses near a NW-trending contact between metamorphosed sedimentary limestone of the Garlock Series and a granodiorite intrusive. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of numerous prospect trenches and shallow shafts.
