A former lode Au occurrence/prospect/mine located in sec. 3, T28S, R32E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.8 mile) WNW of Havilah, on the S side of O'Brien Hill, on private (patented) land (located claim). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
