A Cu-Pb-Au-Mn-W occurrence/prospect located in the S½ sec. 9 & in the E½ (estimated) sec. 16, T29S, R39E, MDM, 2.1 km (1.3 miles) NNW of Garlock. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Tungsten reported by the owner in 1955.

The ore body strikes NW and dips 30-50NE. Controls for ore emplacement included bedding plane shear zones. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 6 (El Paso Mountains).

Workings include underground openings comprised of several shafts and crosscut adits. The adit in sec. 16 is driven N10W and is probably a few hundred feet long. Two adits with moderate dumps were driven in the bottom of the canyon in sec. 9. Several shafts were sunk 200-500 feet up slopes of the canyon walls.
