A former Ag-Cu-Au-Pb mine located in sec. 13, T2S, R31E, MDM, 0.9 km (2,900 feet) WSW of Buscones Peak, along Comanche Gulch, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters (NOTE: An unreasonable value in context of all data among 3 MRDS files; MRDS files 10110815 & 10140276 place this locality in a wilderness area; however, no other locality in the immediate vicinity is so designated and the wilderness area is on the western, not eastern, side of the valley.).

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 18 (San Joaquin-Kings Canyon).

Production data are found in: Goodwin, J. G. (1957): 563.

Assay data: 1926: Ore yielded ^29.35% Pb; 0.90% Cu; 61 ounces Ag and 0.25 ounces Au/ton.

Hand picked ore shows the relation of the increase in Cu-Pb-Au content and decrease in Ag with depth. No confirmation on location.
